You. Have. POWER. It's one thing to hear that but it's another thing to hear it, understand it, and believe it. When you understand what comes with your God given POWER, that power inside of you gets activated and you begin to live your life differently! Let me help you understand the word power. In greek according to the concordance, some of the definitions include:
The power and influence which belong to riches and wealth.
Power and resources arising from numbers.
Power consisting in or resting upon armies, forces, hosts
Inherent power, power residing in a thing by virtue of its nature
Power for performing miracles
Moral power and excellence of soul
Knowing these definitions let's look at two scriptures:
"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us," Ephesians 3:20 KJV
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV
God has given us power! The power that's been given to us comes with influence, resources, army power that defeats enemies. Understanding that the same power that our Father has is working within us frees us from so many negative thoughts that we try to tell ourselves is our truth and reasoning why we shouldn't pursue the things God has told us to do.
To my influencers, entrepreneurs, and if you feel that that you just belong in this category, you never have to let these thoughts stop you from doing what God has told you to do:
I don't have enough supporters, subscribers, or followers
I don't have any influence
I'm needing different equipment
I need more money
I don't have a building
I don't have enough help
These type of thoughts are canceled with the definition of power. With the power of God working within you, comes influence which belongs to riches and wealth. Tap into (believe) that truth and begin to live it. You may feel that your reach is small but when you start moving by the power of God that's within you the influence that comes with that power will find your audience and lead them straight to you. You have power. You have influence. God influence.
To those who are dealing with any situation and feel as if it's trying to get the best of you, you have power. This power that you have is the type of power that armies have. It's a force that defeats all that's trying to defeat it. Be encouraged because with the power that you have, you will not be defeated. Your power forces illnesses, struggle, enemies away. You will never be defeated. You will be the one defeating all that stands in your way.
Another definition of the word power is moral power and excellence of soul. With that information, know that you have power to consistently make good and ethical choices. You have power to do the right thing even when you have an opportunity to not do what's right. To anyone who's been afraid to get in a relationship and married because you're afraid you're going to make a mistake by cheating, you have the power of God in you that combats that spirit that would cause you to cheat. To anyone who's trying to make a honest living but is use to scamming or getting money illegally, the power of God is working inside of you and will help you to do what is right! When it comes to trusting someone to treat you right and to do things the right way legally and God has sent that person in your life, try trusting God's power inside of the human instead of the human.
You have power! That is your reality because you are God's child and the same power that he has is in you. This power that God has given you helps you overcome obstacles, silence doubts, and live boldily in your purpose. The power within you carries influence, strength, and the ability to do good. It's time that the excuses stop and begin to fully embrace the power that's inside of you.
